How do you weave a lifetime of collected artwork and furnishings into a new Pacific Northwest home without losing the story along the way? This design answers with quiet confidence—layering texture, tone, and contrast to create cohesion and depth throughout. In the kitchen, dark bronze finishes, handcrafted tile, and sculptural lighting bring warmth and dimension, while patinaed metal mesh panels introduce a touch of heritage. The moody, layered palette continues into adjacent spaces, where wallcoverings and modern lighting bridge the gap between traditional architecture and contemporary, art-forward living. Each choice—architectural, decorative, or functional—was made to celebrate the clients’ history, blending beloved pieces from past homes with the refined ease of their new PNW retreat. The result is a home that feels rooted yet refreshed, deeply personal and effortlessly cohesive.
