What began as a simple paint consultation for the primary bathroom quickly evolved into a full-scale, whole-house transformation. Every surface was reimagined—from walls to ceilings, floors to furnishings. Wide plank reclaimed flooring grounds the home, while 10-foot metal-and-glass barn doors create dramatic passages between spaces. Enormous glass chandeliers punctuate rooms with lighthearted grandeur, while custom furniture, draperies, rugs, and original artwork infuse personality throughout. Bold, playful wallpapers and layered textures bring energy and visual delight to every corner. Architectural details—including arched doorways, a river rock fireplace, and a soapstone-clad fireplace in the primary suite—add depth and tactile richness. In the powder room, a pink and brown onyx floating vanity serves as a sculptural centerpiece, combining luxury with utility, while in the primary bath, the massive birds-and-flowers wallpaper mural makes us feel Lilliputian by comparison. The design balances modern interventions with material-driven warmth, resulting in a home that is visually captivating, playful, and richly layered. And the cherry on top? A 7-foot-tall giraffe holding an Italian crystal chandelier in its mouth.
